If individual batteries, base-end stations, buildings, etc. are in some way significant, please indicate: This site has the only known unfilled 12″ Mortar emplacement pit, Pit A, Gun No. 4.  This is what an emplacement pit foundation looks like before a mortar is installed.  The mount bolts are corroded, but it is expected to be preserved.  Electrical connectors and conduit are severely corroded.  Elevation and azimuth counters are in fair shape.  The magazines are used for storage.  Battery Harlow has been used for movie and television program sets.  Since being put in use by the HI National Guard, access via hiking trail is closed.
