What is the condition of the Individual Elements?:
Batteries: Battery 134, PSR and Battery Grant are externally intact.
Buildings:  N/A
Other Elements: Internally there have been significant changes to accommodate USN reuse.
What is the protective status of the Site?:
National Park:? No
National Register?: Yes
State or Local Historic Site?: Unknown
None?:  Navy has obtained approval to demolish Battery 134/Gatchell in 2015/2016 to make room for new training facilities.

Is the Site or a responsible individual at the site a CDSG member?:  Yes, Marvin Heinze,
What information can the CDSG provide to the management of the site?:A historic documentation project is underway due to the impending demolition.  If any CDSG members have : 1) Served at Fort Emory or other Series 100 coastal defense batteries. or 2)  Can provide information on the significance of Battery 134, Battery Imperial (155mmplatform), Battery Grant (6 in carriage barbette), the PSR or other supporting structures the contractor may desire to speak with them.  They should contact Marvin Heinze July 2015 if they desire to contribute.

Are there any projects at the Site that would benefit from CDSG funding?:  No
Is there anyone at the Site that would submit material for the CDSG Journal?: Unlikely
