Is the Site open to the Public? NPS area is USCG base is not. Dates and Hours of Operation: Year round, sun up to sun down

What types of programs are offered at the Site? Living History: During special events

Tours: Tours of gun batteries, garrison area and Nike sites are given. Check park schedule for dates and times. nps.gov/gate also see www.armygroundforces.org

Museum Shop: Yes, at Post Guard House

Restoration Projects?: Yes, New Battery Peck/Battery Gunnison 2XM1900 6″ Ped. Battery Potter, McCook- Reynolds mortar battery. Nike Radar Site. Garrison area of post is to be rehabilitated through a historic lease program.

What is the overall condition of the Site? Good and improving

What is the condition of the Individual Elements?

Batteries: Fair to good.

Buildings: Poor to excellent.

Other Elements: Nike Sites, fair. Proving Ground largely dismantled.
